Bio

Ms. Chinea-Thornberry was born in Puerto Rico. She has taught Spanish for native and non-native speakers. She is currently the Teacher Assistant Coordinator for the first year of Spanish and the Coordinator for Destinos-Spanish Telecourse.

Education

B.A. from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras.
M.A. from University of South Florida
Ph.D studies(ABD) from University of Florida

She has taught SPN 1120, SPN 1121(Beginning Spanish), SPN 2200, SPN 2201(Intermediate Spanish), SPN 2240, SPN 2241(Conversation) and SPN 4410(Advanced Conversation).
