Bio

Antonia Teresa Pérez-Franco holds a B.A. in Geography from the University of Murcia, and a B.A. in Translation from the Universitat Autonòma de Barcelona, Spain. She also holds a M.A. and a Ph.D. from Florida State University in Spanish with emphasis in women writers from Spain. Her last appointment was at Saint Louis Community College-Forest Park, where she was Associate Professor and Coordinator of the Foreign Languages Program for seven years. She has published articles in journals such as ALDEEU, Letras Peninsulares, or Confluencia, and a book chapter in the compilation No Más Sexo Débil, dedicated to contemporary women writers from Spain. The book was published by the Universidad de Alicante in Spain.
